Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what NexTag Gamer (nikhilka.com, the "Service") collects and why. We deliberately collect as little as possible — there is no account system, and nicknames you generate are never sent to or stored on our servers.

1. What we collect

• An anonymous device identifier. On your first visit, the Service sets a random ID in a cookie named ntg_device (kept for up to 1 year) so it can recognize your browser on return visits. It contains no personal information — just a random value.
• PRO status. If you purchase the PRO unlock, we store a record linking your device identifier to "PRO: yes" in Cloudflare Workers KV (a key–value store), so the Service knows to unlock the PRO tools on return visits. The record also keeps the order ID and invoice number of your purchase — the invoice number is shown to you as your recovery code.
• Restoring a purchase. If you use Restore your purchase, the email and code you enter are sent to our payment provider only to check that they match a paid order; we don't store the email. To stop guessing, we count attempts per IP address for one hour, storing only a one-way hash of the address, never the address itself.
• Feedback. Under generated results you can rate them 👍 or 👎 and, optionally, write a short comment. We store the rating, the comment, which tool and platform it was about, and the time — for up to 180 days. We don't store the generated nicknames, your IP address or anything that identifies you; to stop abuse we count submissions per IP for one hour using only a one-way hash. Please don't put personal information in the comment.
• Campaign tags. If you arrive through a link with a campaign tag (for example ?utm_source=youtube in a video description), your browser keeps that tag in localStorage for up to 30 days. If you then buy PRO, the tag is passed to our payment provider with the order so we know which video or link led to the sale. It says nothing about you personally and is not used for tracking or advertising.

That's the entire list. We do not collect your name, email, location, or IP address for our own purposes (beyond the hashed one-hour attempt counter above), and we do not run any third-party analytics or advertising trackers on the Service.

2. Payment data

If you purchase PRO, your payment (card details, billing address, email for the receipt) is collected and processed entirely by our payment provider, acting as merchant of record — we never receive or store it. The only thing that comes back to us is a webhook notification confirming the purchase, tied to your anonymous device identifier so we can flip your PRO status, plus notifications about refunds and chargebacks so we can end PRO access for a refunded purchase.

3. Cookies

The only cookie the Service sets is ntg_device, described above — it's essential to the PRO-unlock feature and is not a marketing or tracking cookie. The Service also uses your browser's localStorage to remember your chosen interface language (English/Russian) and, if present, a campaign tag (see §1); the language setting never leaves your device.

4. Data retention & deletion

We keep the device-identifier → PRO-status record for as long as the Service operates, so you don't lose PRO access. If you'd like us to delete your record, email us at [email protected] — note that deleting it will also remove your PRO unlock from that record, since it's the only thing that record is used for.

5. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them (we collect essentially none from anyone, per §1).

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
